5 weeks to go....well 4 actually!

..

I just can't believe that i am going to have my baby girl in 4 weeks. I went to the doctor last Friday and they said I was 1 1/2 cm dialated already. I was excited but know that it doesn't mean anything really. I was this dialted with Andrew for a month. But it is nice to know that I only have 8 1/2 cm left to go! Mark and I have been working like crazy to get the house in order and I am finally starting to feel organized and ready to have her. I have my baby shower this weekend and I am really excited to finally know what I need to get for last minute things. I am so blessed by great friends that are blessing me with a shower, and more great friends who are coming to the shower!

Here are some recent pictures from our first born, we are really excited to have Hannah but there is a sadness that comes along with knowing that this is the last time that we will be a family of 3. There is always the questions of how will Andrew do with the transition, but I think that he will do pretty well. The attention won't be on him all the time, I think that will be the hardest thing that he will need to overcome.

Freaking Out

Okay so as you can see I am 34 weeks prego. I am getting induced a week early so that means I have 5 weeks left until Hannah's arrival if not sooner. Mark and I have been so busy getting the house ready for her arrival, finished projects that we have wanted to do for a while and know that with a newborn will not get done for a long time. I remember going through this when pregnant with Andrew, I realized how close it was getting to the birth and started to freak out. I am pretty sure this is normal. The biggest thing I am freaking out about is that I REALLY need a dresser for hannah's room. Right now all of her clothes are laying on the floor in her bedroom. So if you know of anyone getting rid of a dresser please let me know. I just need to calm down, pray for me that I don't overdo it and am able to enjoy these last 5 weeks of being a family of 3. Yesterday in church I started to cry just thinking about how before I got pregnant I was dealing with the fact that we might always be a family of 3. It is not that I was un-satisfied with Andrew, it was that I felt a hole in my heart for more children but wasn't sure how it would be filled if I didn't get pregnant again. And now here I am 5 weeks before the birth of our daughter, and I am freaking out. I felt the Lord wash a peace over me, reminding me of this journey we have been on, and telling me to sit back and enjoy this time. That was pretty cool!!! I can't wait to introduce her to you!

Here is a recent picture of Mark and Andrew playing baseball....Mark was in heaven!

5 things I love Friday

1.) Watching Mark teach Andrew to play baseball last night. There is something so special about a father and son relationship. I don't know who like to play together more, Mark or Andrew. Mark is so excited every night to play with his boy!

2.) Triple coupon sales! I am so blessed to be around some amazing grocery stores. The monthly triple coupon sale at Bloom is running all weekend. I was able to get $95 worth of groceries for $36 today.

3.) Amazing friends! I just love that I could hang out with someone every day if I wanted to or could. We live on an amazing street!

4.) My bible. My bible is currently held together by Scotch Tape. I love my bible. My mom got it for me when I first became a Christian when I was 19 (even though I was raised in the church I consider this when I actually 'got it'). I can't bring myself to get a new one, so it will continue to be held together with scotch tape until I get it re-bound.

5.) MYLANTA!!!!! If I did not have this miracle medicine this pregnancy I would be so miserable. I could write a whole post on this but will choose not to bore you.

Before and After

Mark has blessed me so much this mothers day! He and Andrew woke me up with breakfast in bed after i slept in until almost 9. Andrew made me a beautiful necklace out of shells that we brought back from the beach. Then he made me a card where he wrote out the words "I Love You" all by himself. Mark just had to tell him what letter to write and he did it all by himself! I am such a proud mommy! Mark gave me money to go get good makeup and my favorite store, ULTA. Then after 3 long days of work he finished my kitchen. A few months ago I asked him if he could re-paint the kitchen and add bead-board and a chair rail. He took 2 days off of work this week to do this project for me. It blessed me so much! I know we would have never gotten this done with Hannah around in the house. Mark worked SOOOO Hard. Here are before and after pictures of my kitchen. There are still many things that need to be done with the kitchen. I need to make curtains, put up frames with pictures, and put up some more antiques that I have. But you can get the picture of what an amazing job he did!

Thank you Mark for blessing me so much!

Family beach pictures

We had a great time at our Greutman family beach trip. We went to my favorite place, Surf City NC. It is a small beach town right outside of Wilmington, NC. Nothing to do there but sit and relax on the beach. It was such a fun time to get away from our homes on Durand rd. and get to hang out with each other. Debby, Ed, and Amy all came down from Oswego. It's funny how even though I live on the same street as all of Marks' siblings, we still never get much quality time together. We need to change that, right Greuty's?

Here are some pictures from our time at the beach. I got a cute maternity bathing suit to wear and spent most of my time on the beach sitting while Mark and Andrew built sand castles. Andrew LOVES the beach and all he wanted to do was to be out there.
